Taranis is currently looking for an experienced Ag Data Analyst to play a key role in our Ag Group while working with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret agronomic data, drive actionable insights, and support the development of cutting-edge solutions that enhance agricultural outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Agronomy knowledge center, identifying diseases, nutrient deficiencies, weed species, chemical, and insect damage across various crops.
- Act as the Agronomy focal point, collaborating with key stakeholders, including Customer Success, Product, and R&D teams in Israel, the US, and Brazil.
- Provide instructions and guidance to annotation teams to ensure accurate and high-quality data labeling.
- Monitor and ensure alignment with quality KPIs, maintaining high standards in agronomy-related processes.
Requirements
- Experience: Up to 2 years in a relevant role, such as Agronomist, Agronomy Analyst, or Remote Sensing Agronomist.
- Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture (M.Sc. is an advantage).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in working with information systems.
- Experience with SQL and basic Python - an advantage
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese is an advantage).
- Training Experience: Proven ability to train teams (military training experience is considered).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret and act on agronomic data effectively.
